The "WRPF PHL Arena World Cup IFBB 2025" powerlifting competition was held in Madrid, the capital of Spain.

In the elite division, in unequipped powerlifting, our athlete took first place in the 110 kg weight category with a result of 835 kg and third place among the absolute winners.
He coped with 312.5 kg in the squat, 210 kg in the bench press, and 312.5 kg in the deadlift.
Ahmadov also broke the Azerbaijani record of 311 kg in the squat, which belonged to our professional athlete Vusal Agalarov.
It should be noted that the powerlifter, who received treatment for 6 months due to injuries sustained at the IPL World Cup in December 2024, returned to training in the last 3 months.
