Levan Gogaladze, a player from "Quba", believes that basketball is developing in Azerbaijan.
"Report" reports that the Georgian legionnaire stated this in an interview with the club's press service.
He also compared this sport with the one in his country:
"In my opinion, more children need to be brought to the games. Also, more organized general managers and some steps like this will benefit the league. If we compare the countries, the level of foreign basketball players is almost the same. Because many players who played in Azerbaijan previously played in Georgia. The difference between the clubs in these two countries is in the discipline in the teams and the local players".
L. Gogaladze answered the question about which team he will play for in the new season:
"We haven't discussed it yet. Time will tell how it will be. I respect our head coach Shahriyar Asgarov and our captain Zaur Pashayev. I always wish them the best".
He also announced his forecast for the remaining games of the Azerbaijan Basketball League:
"I think "Sabah" is still the favorite in the championship fight. Head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis has built a very good team".
