"Report" reports that this was stated by "Quba"'s head coach Shahriyar Asgarov in a statement to the club's press service after the match with "Shaki" (56:78) in the XI round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
The coach said that there were losses in the squad:
"The previous games' scenario continued again. We had losses in the squad. Zaur Pashayev had not recovered. His absence means the team is half gone. Nevertheless, the players fought to the end. The fact that our new transfer Jalen Reynolds could not make it for a medical examination made our job a bit more difficult. Our next game is against "Ganja". We will go to this match to win. By then, Zaur will also recover, and Jalen will be able to play. Probably, it will be a completely different game. Neither "Ganja" nor "Shaki" are teams that we cannot win. We showed this in three parts. It's just that the lack of personnel took its toll."
