A protocol has been signed between Akdeniz University, one of Turkey's prestigious higher education institutions, and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) for the implementation of a dual degree program at the bachelor's level of higher education in the specialty of "Coaching".
The ASA press service informed "Report" about this.
The purpose of signing the document is to further deepen cooperation in the field of sports education between the two brotherly countries, and to form a joint educational and scientific environment for the training of professional coaches who meet modern international standards.
The signing ceremony was attended by delegations led by Özlenen Özkan, the rector of Akdeniz University, and Fuad Hajiyev, the rector of ASA.
Within the framework of the new program, students will spend the first and fourth years of their education at the university where they were admitted, and the second and third years at the partner university.
Graduates who successfully complete their studies will be awarded diplomas from both higher education institutions.
