We watched interesting games in the final of the Azerbaijan Higher League.
According to "Report", this was stated by the President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), Rocco Sicirić.
He thanked the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation for the warm welcome in Baku:
"I congratulate the prize-winners. The group matches of the European Championship will be held in Baku in 2026."
It should be noted that in the second final match between men, which took place today at the National Gymnastics Arena, "Azerreyl" won the title, defeating "Murov Az Terminal" with a score of 3:1 (25:20, 25:22, 17:25, 25:17). The "railroad workers" also surpassed their opponent in the first final match - 3:0.
In the women's competition, "Azerreyl" became the champion of Azerbaijan, defeating the "National Aviation Academy" in the "golden set" in the second match of the final yesterday.
