President of the European Canoe Association stated that there are enough suitable places in Azerbaijan for the high-level development of rowing

There are plenty of special places in Azerbaijan to develop rowing at a high level.

According to the employee of "Report", who was sent to the region, the President of the European Canoe Association (ECA), Jan Zungrana, said this in a statement to journalists after a special event organized for the residents of Fuzuli within the framework of the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The head of the ECA stated that he was pleased to be in Azerbaijani lands:

"This is my next visit to Fuzuli. Participation here is of particular importance to me. I want to get to know Fuzuli better. It is gratifying that there will be a large number of participants in the international regatta to be held in Azerbaijan. After this organization, Azerbaijan will gain important experience. Thanks to all this, it may host the European Championship in the future. Our technical team will also be here until the weekend to conduct an inspection."

It should be noted that the official parade and presentation of the teams of the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta will be held on April 29 in Mingachevir city, Heydar Aliyev Avenue. On April 30, the official opening ceremony of the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta and races at a distance of 200 meters will be held in Sugovushan, another beautiful corner of Karabakh. The regatta will continue on May 1-2 at the Mingachevir "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center. Here, teams will compete in various distances in kayaking, canoeing and academic rowing.
