President Ilham Aliyev's Novruz greeting

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated our people on the occasion of Novruz holiday.

Idman.Biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that the head of state, in his congratulatory letter, emphasized that Novruz, which has very ancient roots, is a sacred gift from our ancestors to present generations, and said: "This dear holiday has been an integral part of our national way of thinking for centuries and has made a special contribution to the formation of our cultural values. In Novruz ceremonies, the optimistic worldview of our people, their endless love for nature, high moral standards and the brightest wishes for the future are embodied in all their richness".

President Ilham Aliyev added that the Azerbaijani people's services to their glorious history include protecting Novruz traditions from foreign influences, successfully passing the test of time and keeping them alive to this day. As a treasure trove of the highest human qualities and deep spirituality, Novruz holiday, which is among the valuable examples of world cultural heritage, is still celebrated today in every corner of our Motherland with folk festivals in accordance with the customs that have left their mark in the memory of centuries.

"I am confident that the renewing atmosphere of the spring season will further increase our enthusiasm to build our future in accordance with our wishes, and with our determination we will turn our ancestral lands, which we liberated, into a haven of beauty under a clear sky," the Azerbaijani President said.
