Presentation of the film "Following the Dream" was held

The presentation of the film "Following the Dream", dedicated to Elmira Aslanova, the first Azerbaijani female mountaineer to conquer Mount Everest, has been held.

"Report" informs, citing the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, that the event was held at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev, the President of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation Mukhtar Babayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Affairs Bahar Muradova, members of parliament, representatives of the sports community, sports veterans and other persons.

Speakers at the event stated that the film "Following the Dream" shows not only the success of a female mountaineer, but also the will and strength of an Azerbaijani woman. It was also noted that the film inspires the younger generation, especially young athletes, to win.

The film was watched with interest and greeted with applause. At the end, the event participants congratulated the film's director, screenwriter Arzu Urshan, and the heroine Elmira Aslanova on their successful screen work.
