On July 21, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov held the 21st meeting with representatives of sports federations at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
Idman.biz reports that during the meeting, the Minister greeted the participants and gave detailed information about the work done in the field of sports recently, the results achieved and the tasks ahead.
The event discussed the preparation issues for the III CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan this year and the VI Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Saudi Arabia. At the same time, information was provided on the Centralized Registry System, the preparation process for the XXXIV Summer Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028, and the work to be done at the National Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Institute.
The meeting also discussed the sports community's visits to the regions, listened to a number of presentations, exchanged views on the report on the federations' social media activities and other issues.
