On April 4, a regular meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Azerbaijan Cycling Race "Baku-Khankendi" of the 2.1 category of the International Cycling Union (UCI) was held.
Idman.Biz reports that the status of preparations for the race was discussed in detail at the meeting.
The chairman of the Organizing Committee, the 1st vice-president of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, Sahib Alakbarov, said that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the successful holding of this prestigious international competition.
At the meeting, logistics issues, the technical condition of the roads along the routes, security measures, visa support, reception and accommodation of teams, organization of their leisure time, information about the sights of our country and the reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories where the 4th and 5th stages will be held, communication to the race participants, organization of high-level broadcasting with "Eurosport" and "CBC Sport" TV channels, as well as issues related to operational management during the race days were discussed in detail, additional instructions were given to strengthen coordination and complete the work on time and at a high level.
