Several more renowned judokas from around the world will compete at the Baku Grand Slam.
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation's press service told "Report" about this.
Among the female athletes competing are Swedish Olympic and World medalist Tara Babulfat (48 kg), Kosovan Olympic champion and World medalist Distria Krasniqi (52 kg), and Dutch World champion Joanne Van Lieshout (63 kg).
From the men, Tajik World and Olympic medalist Somon Makhmadbekov (81 kg) and Russian World and Olympic medalist Tamerlan Bashaev (+100 kg) will also try to win medals.
It should be noted that the Grand Slam will be held between February 14-16. It was previously announced that Japanese Olympic and world champion judokas will participate in the tournament.
