Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Nihat Mammadli has become the winner of the European Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
Lent.az reports that the athlete, competing in the 60 kg weight category, defeated Serbian Georgi Tibilov in the final.
Our representative, who defeated his opponent with a score of 7:3, won the title of European Champion for the 2nd time.
It should be noted that earlier freestyle wrestlers won 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals, and our Greco-Roman wrestlers won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal. Jala Aliyeva (57 kg) won a bronze medal among women.
