Our national team, consisting of various age groups in cycling, has left for Gadabay for training camp.
Idman.biz reports that during the training camp, which will be held at an altitude of 1500-1700 meters above sea level until the end of August, our athletes will improve their professionalism in theoretical and practical exercises and trainings.
Before leaving for the training camp, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation with the organizers of the event and athletes.
The 1st Vice-President of the Federation, Sahib Alakbarov, said that the leadership of ACIF pays special attention to increasing the preparation of the national team members. The nature and geographical conditions of Gadabay region allow cyclists to train on various types of routes. In particular, high-altitude routes will have a positive effect on the physical preparation of athletes, which is extremely important for the preparation of our national team members for the European Championship to be held in France in October.
Sahib Alakbarov said that a base was allocated in Gadabay region for team members and expressed his gratitude to the entrepreneur Mubariz Bayramaliyev on behalf of the federation for his support in organizing the training camp.
In turn, Mubariz Bayramaliyev said that the base, located in Gadabay and provided with all the necessary conditions, will create conditions for further increasing interest in cycling in the region.
