Our badminton players under 19 years old won a bronze medal at the international tournament held in Svilengrad, Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that the Ulvi Huseynov and Leyla Jamalzade tandem advanced to the semi-finals in the mixed doubles category and were awarded 3rd place in the "Bulgarian Junior International 2025" tournament.
On the way to the semi-finals, our badminton players defeated opponents representing Luxembourg and Bulgaria, but had to stop the fight one step away from the final due to Ulvi Huseynov's injury.
Leyla Jamalzade managed to advance to 1/8 in the girls' individual competition, and Ulvi Huseynov managed to advance to 1/4 in the boys' individual competition.
