Anna Skidan is 9th in the world hammer throw ranking. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani athlete, who took 7th place at the Paris Olympics, has 1274 points.
The points collected by Skidan reflect four results from last year - these are the qualifying and final competitions of the Summer Olympic Games, as well as the tournaments in Poland and Norway, where she was a prize-winner.
The leader in the ranking is Olympic champion Camryn Rogers (Canada), American Brooke Andersen is in second place, and Annet-Nneka Echekunwoke is third.
