"Ordu" head coach Alberto Blanco commented on the second game (92:88) against "Quba", which they eliminated from the play-in stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
"Report" informs that the specialist stated this in a statement to the club's press service.
He assessed this victory as a success:
"I am very happy that we qualified for the playoffs. This is our first success. This is the fifth time we have defeated "Quba". However, at the beginning of the season, we lost to this team by 30 points. Consecutive victories are due to daily intense training and improved game quality. I think that even if we face "Quba" in 10 more matches, we will still fight well and win. Today, with slight rotations in the squad, we were able to maintain control of the match for 3 periods. We only faced a slightly difficult situation in the last period. However, we did not lose ourselves and qualified for the playoffs by playing smart. Now we will forget this game and focus all our attention on the match with "Neftchi".
It should be noted that "Quba", who also lost the first match to their opponent (83:91), has stopped competing in the championship.
