The opponents of Azerbaijani clubs that will participate in the European Handball Cup tournament have been determined.
Idman.biz reports that in the women's competition, the Azerbaijani champion "Azeryol" will face the Austrian team "Union Korneuburg" in the second qualifying round.
The bronze medalist of the national championship, "Kur", will compete against the Portuguese club "San-Pedro-du-Sul". The first matches of the second round will be held on September 27-28, and the return matches will be held on October 4-5.
In the men's handball tournament, the Azerbaijani champion "Kur" will face the stronger of the duel between the Hungarian "Balatondyured" and the Turkish "Beykoz" teams.
Our other representative in the tournament, "Baku", will face the North Macedonian club "Orhid". Both of our teams will start the fight from the second qualifying round. The first matches of this round are scheduled for October 11-12, and the return matches are scheduled for October 18-19.
