The number of teams participating in the UCI 2.1 category "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan cycling race has increased.
The Azerbaijan Cycling Federation told İdman.Biz in response to a request that the Algerian "Madar Pro" continental team has been added to the list of participants.
Thus, the number of teams participating in the tournament has increased to 23, including 1 World Tour, 7 Pro-Tour, 14 continental teams and the Azerbaijan national team from 19 countries.
According to the Federation, a total of 25 teams are expected to participate in the race. Currently, the organizers are reviewing the applications received and are working on selecting the next two teams.
It should be noted that the race will be held on May 10–14.
