The European countries where NHL regular season games can be held have been announced.
Idman.biz reports that in the 2025/26 season, the "Pittsburgh" and "Nashville" teams will play two matches in Sweden.
The matches will take place on November 14 and 16 at the "Avicii Arena" in Stockholm.
NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said the following on the subject: "We have turned the "Global Series" into a permanent event. In the future, we plan to continue this experience and cover new, non-traditional markets to further expand our league.
If you ask which countries we are considering, I would definitely include Germany among the candidates. Maybe Switzerland too. There are places where we want to continue this project."
