The next meeting of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation was held at the headquarters of the Federation.

Idman.biz reports that, along with the coaches of the national teams, doctors and other employees of the administrative staff also participated in the meeting held under the leadership of the vice-president of the Federation, Firdovsi Umudov.

First, the coaches' report on the results of the European Championship held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, was heard. The development dynamics related to the results of athletes in the national teams consisting of adults, youth, juniors and women were reviewed separately. Vice-president Firdovsi Umudov once again emphasized that the team's internal atmosphere and discipline issues are a priority.

Later, the opinion of the medical staff regarding the condition of the athletes who are currently undergoing rehabilitation was studied. At the meeting, specific instructions were also given regarding the upcoming training camps of the national teams. The purpose of organizing these preparations is to form a team that will go to the important competitions of the year (VI Islamic Solidarity Games, World Championship, European Championships for youth and juniors).

At the end of the meeting, an exchange of views was held on current issues within the federation.
