Idman.biz reports that the new president of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, Zaur Akhundov, said this in an interview with AZERTAC.
He stated that he would do his best to develop this sport: "Our goal is to raise cycling to the highest peaks and to see Azerbaijani representatives on the podiums of international competitions. We aim to achieve successful results in tournaments. We will work to increase the perspective of specialists in this field. We want more people from our country who know and love this field. We have plans ahead. We will start implementing them step by step. We will continue to popularize cycling."
