At today's meeting of the AFFA Executive Committee, a decision was made to appoint Jahangir Farajullayev to the position of General Secretary.

Jahangir Farajullayev was born in Baku in 1981. In 1999-2005, he received bachelor's and master's degrees from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Baku State University and graduated with honors.
In 2004-20019, he worked in various positions in Engin, Deniz Service, Gametv.az Producer Center, AGBank, Novartis, Sandoz and JTI Azerbaijan companies, and acted as an independent consultant on business development and marketing.
In 2019-2020, he was the CEO of Caspiantech. From 2021 to 2025, he worked as an advisor to the CEO of Azerlotereya OJSC and as the CEO of LMK company.
