Nepalese climber renews his record by conquering Mount Everest

Nepalese climber Kami Rita Sherpa renewed his world record for the number of ascents to the highest peak on the planet, conquering Everest for the 31st time.

"Report" reports that the Kathmandu Post newspaper reported this.

The 55-year-old climber reached the summit on Tuesday night in stable weather conditions. The climber, who lives in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal, one of the highest mountainous regions in the world, first conquered Everest in 1994.

The second most Everest-conquering climber is Pasang Dawa Sherpa. He has climbed to the summit 29 times.

It should be noted that more than 8,000 climbers have conquered Everest to date.
