"Neftchi"'s injured footballer Emil Safarov has undergone surgery.
QOL.az reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
It was reported that Emil Safarov was substituted during the match against "Shamakhi", which took place on April 7 at the Shamakhi city stadium as part of the 29th round of the Misli Premier League, due to a shoulder injury.
The footballer suffered a recurrent dislocation of the shoulder joint. As a result, Emil Safarov underwent arthroscopic surgery in Istanbul, Turkey.
It should be noted that Safarov, whose operation was successful, will return to Baku in two days and begin treatment and rehabilitation. He will start training in approximately three months.
