"Report" informs that the coach of "Neftchi" Daviti Chivchivadze said this in his statement to the club's press service after the defeat to "Sabah" in the XII round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
The expert stated that they need to work harder in training:
The match with "Sabah" showed that we can play against any team. We performed very well in defense and attack. But we had some mistakes, which is normal. We had a chance, we could have won. But it didn't work out. It was a very difficult match. In general, it was a game of mistakes, and whichever team made fewer mistakes would win. We need to work harder in training and improve our game. I thank my team for the fight and the game they showed, and I congratulate the "Sabah" team on their victory.
It should be noted that in the match of group A, which took place in the Baku Sports Palace, "Sabah" defeated "Neftchi" with a score of 75:65.
