"Report" informs that Daviti Chivchivadze, the coach of "Neftchi", said this in a statement to the club's press service after the play-off match of the Azerbaijan Basketball League against "Ordu".
The expert stated that they witnessed a beautiful game:
"I congratulate my team on the victory. This is the first time we have reached the semi-finals in the Azerbaijan Basketball League. There were some mistakes in attack and defense in the previous game. But even though we only had two days to prepare, we fixed these mistakes. I am proud of my players. They did a great job. This result against a team like "Ordu", which displays beautiful basketball, is a very good indicator. We will try to show our strongest side to our opponent in the semi-finals."
It should be noted that "Neftchi" won the first match against "Ordu" with a score of 93:84, and the second match with a score of 88:54 and advanced to the semi-finals.
