Idman.Biz reports that Nargiz Suleymanova, who qualified for the European Figure Skating Championship, noted this in a post on her personal "Instagram" account.
"It was a great honor for me to raise the Azerbaijani flag. I express my deep gratitude to my federation for trusting me and giving me this opportunity," she said.
It should be noted that Nargiz Suleymanova won a gold medal at the "Bosphorus Cup" held in Istanbul on November 27-30, scoring 156.53 points among 26 athletes in the short and free programs, and qualified for the European Championship.
In the same competition, Arina Kalugina (154.85 points) took fifth place, and Sabina Aliyeva (137.22 points) took sixth place.
