The handball clubs that will represent Azerbaijan in the European Cups have been determined.
The Handball Federation informed "Report" about this.
Two men's and two women's teams will compete in the prestigious competition.
Among the men's handball players, the winner of the last Azerbaijani championship "Kür" and the silver medalist "Baku" will participate in the continental competition. Our representatives, who are exempt from the first stage in the European Cup tournament, will join the fight from the second round.
In total, 55 teams from the continent will compete in this stage. Participants, along with 9 teams from the first stage, will continue the fight from the 1/32 finals.
The first matches of the second round will be held on October 11-12, and the return matches will be held on October 18-19.
In the women's handball European Cup tournament, our country will be represented by the Azerbaijani champion "Azeryol" and the 3rd place winner "Kür". All teams will start the competition from the second stage. 50 teams will compete here. The other 7 clubs with higher rating points will compete in the tournament from the 3rd stage.
The first matches of the second round will be held on September 27-28, and the return matches will be held on October 4-5.
