According to "Report," the head coach of "Nakhchivan," Murat Dikmen, said this in a statement to the club's press service after the match against NTD in the XII round of the Azerbaijan Basketball League.
The specialist stated that his team played very poorly in defense:
"We played really badly today. We couldn't focus on the match in both defense and attack. The opponent's 95 points are a clear example of this. We performed very poorly in defense. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good start to the second round. We lost to both "Neftchi" and NTD in a row. However, the team was able to rise to the leadership before. I hope we will be better prepared for the match with "Serhedchi." We must eliminate the shortcomings and go out to win the next match. We must show character in the next matches. I know we have the strength to do it. We need to recover quickly."
It should be noted that in the A group match "Nakhchivan" - NTD, held at the Baku Sports Palace, the guests won with a score of 95:70.
