Multi-event competition organized among structural units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

A multi-event championship was held among the institutions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at the sports base of the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. This was reported to Lent.az by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It was reported that at the championship, which was attended by about 60 employees from 14 teams of the MES structures, the participants competed in running for 100 and 1000 meters, weightlifting and pull-ups on the horizontal bar, both in personal and team scores. At the closing ceremony of the event, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was first played. Later, the head of the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel Fuzuli Musayev, congratulated the winning teams and employees and wished them success in future competitions. The speeches highlighted the successes of the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in various sports competitions held among state institutions. Then the teams and participants who achieved success in the championship were awarded. Thus, in the 3-day competition, the team of the Baku Regional Center won all its rivals and took first place in the team score. The team of the State Fire Protection Service took second place in the championship, and the team of the Civil Defense Forces took third place. In the individual competitions, the title of champion was won by Murad Balayev, a cadet of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The second place was taken by Pirim Abbasov, an employee of the Special Risky Rescue Service, and the third place was taken by Orkhan Shahgeldiyev, an employee of the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue. The winners were presented with cups, diplomas, medals and gifts established by the Sports and Health Club.
