Back in 1979, he was the first head coach of the national karate team and trained a number of prominent sports masters. In 1998, it was Mirali Seyidov who founded the Azerbaijan Jiu-Jitsu Federation and headed this organization continuously for almost three decades.
Mirali Seyidov would have turned 70 on May 20, 2026.
