Halil Atlı announced that "Ganja" will prepare for the play-off stage

The regular championship stage of the Azerbaijan Basketball League has ended. After the away match with "Shaki", the head coach of "Ganja" team, Halil Atlı, spoke about his team's performance and upcoming goals.

Idman.Biz reports with reference to the club's press service that the specialist first thanked the team under his leadership. He noted that the main part of the championship is over and all attention will now be focused on the play-off stage.

"I thank my players and assistants for their efforts. We will focus on the play-offs. As always, we will try to do our best," said Atlı.

Touching on the game in Shaki, the head coach emphasized that despite the fact that the match was not important for the opponent in terms of the tournament table, there was a tough fight on the field. Halil Atlı stated that despite the intervention of the referees in some episodes, the tension was not good for basketball:

"We watched tough fights in the game. It is true that the referees intervened in the episodes, but these do not look good for basketball. That's why I'm upset. The athlete's health comes first."

In the end, the experienced specialist congratulated his team on the victory and called on the fans to show greater support in the play-off games. He added that they need the support of fans in the decisive stage.
