"My dream came true."
Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani MMA fighter Nazim Sadykhov while talking about the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament to be held in Baku.
The 31-year-old athlete, who joined a special session via Zoom, shared his thoughts on the competition: "I have always wanted to perform in front of my home crowd. It is especially gratifying to have Azerbaijani fighters here. We saw fighters from post-Soviet countries fighting in the UFC, but there were few Azerbaijanis. I have known and followed my opponent for a long time. We used to fight in the same organization. Motto has moved to Thailand in recent months and is training there. He mainly fights standing up. He has good boxing skills."
It should be noted that "UFC Fight Night" will be held on June 21 at the Baku Crystal Hall. Nazim Sadykhov will fight Brazilian Nikolas Motta.
