Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov stated that his first job after his student years was in the Balakhani oil fields. According to Sport24.az, he spoke about this to the well-known journalist Emin Musavi on ASAN TV's "Unofficial" program.
Despite being an economist by profession, Farid Gayibov started working as a worker in Balakhani.
"I was told that to understand the job, I had to start from the very bottom," said Minister Gayibov, who was transferred to another position after working as a worker for half a year in 2001.
In total, three years of his career were spent in Sabunchu with the Balakhani oil workers.
It should be noted that about 15% of the current staff of "Balakhani Operating Company LTD", which carries out production works in "Balakhani-Sabunchu-Ramana", the largest and rarest oil and gas field of the Absheron Peninsula, are young people.
