On April 14, the delegation led by Maria Victoria Romero Caballero, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Azerbaijan, visited the Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA).
Welcoming the guests, Fuad Hajiyev, the rector of ASA, provided detailed information about the history, scientific and educational environment, and international cooperation directions of the Academy. The rector stated that ASA is interested in developing academic relations with prestigious higher education institutions in Mexico and establishing long-term cooperation.
Ambassador Maria Victoria Romero Caballero emphasized that cooperation in the fields of science and education is one of the important means of mutual understanding and rapprochement between peoples.
The meeting discussed the prospects of cooperation between ASA and leading higher education institutions in Mexico. The parties exchanged views on signing memorandums, creating dual diploma programs, organizing student and teacher exchanges, as well as implementing joint academic and scientific projects.
Finally, the guests were presented with the modern educational and research infrastructure created in the Academy's MediaLab and Sports Medical Research Laboratory.
