The Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation (AAF) today held an official meeting with climbers Elmira Aslanova and Vafa Musayeva, who have achieved world-class success. Sport24.az reports that during the meeting, the federation thanked the Azerbaijani female climbers who successfully climbed Mount Everest and highly appreciated their historic achievement.
The meeting also included extensive discussions on the difficulties encountered during the expedition, the preparation phase, and future plans. Elmira Aslanova and Vafa Musayeva thanked the Federation for their support and expressed great pride in flying the Azerbaijani flag at the highest point in the world.
The Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation emphasized that it will continue to support such successful projects in the future and create new opportunities for the development of young climbers.
