With the organization of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation (ACF), a "master class" was held at the National Carpet Museum by two-time world and European chess champion Antoaneta Stefanova.
According to the information provided to "Report" from the press service of the ACF, the president of the organization, Vice-President of the International Chess Federation Mahir Mammadov, who participated in the event, said that the main goal is to support the formation of teenagers and young chess players as professional athletes.
At the meeting attended by 20 teenagers and young chess players, Antoaneta Stefanova spoke about her path to success and the important moments of her career. Then, there was an exchange of views on chess debuts and other situations, and questions of interest to teenagers and young people were answered.
At the end of the "master classes", certificates and gifts were presented to the participants.
It should be noted that ACF regularly implements various projects and events to instill interest in sports among teenagers and young people and to educate them in a healthy spirit.
