Austrian skier Mario Seidl has been stripped of the bronze medal he won at the 2019 World Championships.
"Report" reports that the decision was made by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).
This follows the final decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in the case of the athlete, whose blood tested positive for doping.
CAS has ruled to annul M. Seidl's results, titles and prize money obtained in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
FIS announced that the bronze medal at the World Championships in question has been awarded to the Japanese team.
The athlete previously stated that he suffered from a rare immune disorder called hypogammaglobulinemia, which is characterized by low levels of antibodies in the blood.
