Marcelo, the former Brazilian footballer of "Real", has announced that he is ending his career at the age of 36.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that the player, who announced his decision on his X (Twitter) account, made this post: "My story as a football player ends here, but I still have a lot to give to football. Thank you for everything."
Marcelo won 27 trophies during his career.
The star left-back has won 6 La Liga titles, 5 Champions League titles, 5 Spanish Super Cups, 4 FIFA Club World Cups, 2 Spanish Cups, 1 Libertadores, and 1 Confederations Cup.
Marcelo last played for Fluminense in 2024.
