The Azerbaijani athlete performed successfully in Group D on the second day of the 12th Sofia Diving Cup held in Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that Maqsud Tahirli, a member of our youth team, took the highest step of the podium.
He surpassed all his rivals in the 3-meter springboard jump and became the winner of the tournament. With this, Maqsud won his second gold medal in Sofia. Tahirli also outperformed all his rivals in the 5-meter platform jump.
It should be noted that more than 160 young athletes from 11 countries are participating in the competition.
