"Manchester United" graduate, Joe Thompson, who finished his career 6 years ago, has passed away.

Thompson died at the age of 36 from cancer.
He had previously defeated this disease twice during his football career.
Thompson also played for Tranmere Rovers, Bury, Southport and Carlisle United during his career.
