La Liga president Javier Tebas has compared the local championship with the English Premier League.
QOL.az reports with reference to AS that he said La Liga is better than the Premier League in terms of investment in sports:
"The Premier League is a waste of money. We are the most efficient league in terms of sports investment. Italy invests heavily in its championship, but its players are not highly valued in the transfer market. We must work for economic efficiency and the integrity of the league.
Our clubs invest the most in the development of the championship. The current form of productivity is the most relevant."
