A terrible accident occurred at the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup stage. Norwegian legendary athlete Johannes Klaebo was hospitalized due to an injury sustained during the sprint race.
Idman.Biz reports that the incident occurred during the descent. As a result of American Ben Ogden carelessly stepping on Klaebo's ski, the Norwegian athlete lost his balance and fell. Johannes, who hit the back of his head hard, was unable to get up for a long time.

The national team doctor, Ove Feragen, gave an official statement regarding the athlete's condition:
"Klaebo will not participate in the 50-kilometer race to be held in Holmenkollen on Saturday. It is too early to talk about whether he will participate in the World Cup final stage in the USA. He is currently feeling relatively well and is returning to his home in Trondheim to continue his treatment."

It should be noted that the probability of Klaebo, who was diagnosed with a concussion, ending the current season prematurely is very high.
