A kickboxing and MMA sports competition was held in the Gardabani region of Georgia.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that the competition was organized at the initiative of the "Caucasus Arena" Sports Association within the framework of projects of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora.
The aim is to increase interest in the development of sports in the region, encourage young people to lead a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen local sports infrastructure.
The organizers plan to hold more sports events in the region in the near future, organize continuous activities and competitions for young people. Such projects will help to raise the sports culture in the region and pave the way for young people to have a professional sports career.
About 200 athletes from different regions of Georgia participated in the tournament.
The tournament, which was held in a tense and healthy competitive environment, was met with great interest by the audience.
In the tournament managed by a professional judging panel, the "Sarticala-Muganli" team took first place among the teams, the "Yormuganli" team took second place, and the "Kalinovka" team of Gardabani took third place.
In professional fights, Mahmud Abdulayev, Nijat Aliyev, Elimkhan Dashdemirov, Mehman Mamedov and Sarkhan Nabiyev took first place in various weight categories.
