Khabib Nurmagomedov, 37-year-old UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC lightweight champion, has confessed that deep down he always wanted to be a football player, not a fighter.
Idman.Biz reminds that Nurmagomedov's last fight was at UFC 254, which took place on October 24, 2020, on Yas Island near Abu Dhabi (UAE).
"I've been watching football my whole life, and it's still my number one sport. As a kid, I dreamed of becoming a football player, but I accidentally became a fighter because I was born and raised where my father was a coach. I'm kidding, I didn't become a fighter by accident, but deep down, football has always been important to me," Nurmagomedov told the Home of Fight account on social media site X.
