Five Karabakh horses from the Karabakh Equestrian Complex located in Agjabadi have been selected to be sent to the city of Sivas, Turkey.
Idman.biz reports that this was announced by Fatih Köse, the head of Chovgan sports in Turkey, who is on a visit in connection with the III CIS Games held in Azerbaijan.
It was reported that the country's first specialized chovgan complex has been built here.
Fatih Köse noted in his statement to journalists that Turkey attaches great importance to the revival of this ancient game and is actively working with Azerbaijan to jointly develop this sport.
It should be reminded that chovgan competitions are held at the Shaki city stadium. The Turkish national team finished the group stage in third place and completed its performance in the tournament. The Azerbaijani national team, on the other hand, won two confident victories and advanced to the semi-finals and continues its fight for a medal.
