It was reported that he set a new statistical record for Azerbaijan by swimming non-stop for 10 hours in full compliance with the established rules during a special test organized at the Guba Recreation, Sports, Training and Education Complex.
The record was officially registered with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.
On the eve of Physical Culture and Sports Day, the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation presented Jamil Aliyev with an official certificate regarding this achievement.
