The Israeli "Israel-Premier Tech" team has been removed from the "Ciro dell'Emilia" cycling race.
Idman.biz reports this with reference to AFP.
"Ciro dell'Emilia" will be held in Italy on October 4.
"Unfortunately, the "Israel-Premier Tech" team will not be at our race. We had to make this decision due to public safety concerns," said Adriano Amici, one of the organizers of the race.
In September, during the "Vuelta a Espana" cycling tour, protesters chanting anti-Israel slogans directly entered the cycling routes, preventing the race from taking place. As a result of the protests, some stages of the race ended prematurely and no winner was determined.
