Irina Zaretska Maintains Lead in World Ranking

Three-time world karate champion Irina Zaretska (68 kg) continues to lead the world ranking table.

Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani athlete, who returned to the tatami after maternity leave, has 6750 points.

Her 5th place finish in the last stage of the Premier League held in Morocco earned her 450 points.

In the ranking, Swiss Yelena Quirici (5850), whom Zaretska defeated in the World Championship final, is in second place, and French Talia Sombe (4375) is in third place.
