The competitions of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers will be held in Azerbaijan next year.
Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by the president of the federation, Aleksandr Chupriyan, at the XXVI International Conference of heads of fire and rescue services of member countries of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers held in Baku.
He stated that the federation is expanding and strengthening every year with the addition of new countries. "We have focused our main attention on the development of the federation's sports infrastructure and base. This base will play a key role in holding future competitions at a high level. The organization of the championship in Azerbaijan next year is of particular importance. Currently, the international federation unites about 35 countries from three continents, and this broad network of cooperation is our main source of strength. At the same time, within the framework of the sports and business program, we will closely study the atmosphere, culture, lifestyle and traditions of this beautiful country. This will further strengthen and bring our cooperation closer," - added Aleksandr Chupriyan.
